Assembly

Last week we hosted the assembly with our awesome buddy class Room 12. We are becoming confident to present in front of an audience. We sang a song and performed a folk dance. Well done to everyone who had a part to present with their buddy. You were responsible for your own learning to remember what to present. I am so proud of you all! Tino pai rawa Room 13!!

Folk Dancing

In Physical Education we are learning to work with a partner or group, remember the steps and actions, to perform a folk dance to an audience.  We will be performing at Pohutakawa assembly tomorrow, 21.8.2015, at 12pm. All welcome :) 

A taste of rugby

Rugby fun! Today we had some rugby coaches come in and play some games with us. We had lots of fun!

Makaia meets Joe Sullivan

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Olympic gold medalist Joe Sullivan. Makaia was selected to ask him a question in front of the whole school, and she did it full of confidence! Way to go Makaia!!

Police Helicopter

Wow, it was so great to see, hear, smell, feel a helicopter land on our back field! A fantastic experience!
