Hosting Assembly

This Friday we are hosting the Assembly with our buddy class.

Last week was New Zealand Sign Language Week.  We are doing a presentation that links our learning with New Zealand Sign Language.

We are presenting:

  • A video that shows us saying our name using sign language.
  • The letters of the alphabet using sign language.
  • A song called "Individuality" using sign language.

Science lesson with Miss Renton

Students are learning about solids and liquids. Students have made observations and recorded evidence by drawing pictures of their investigations. They have learnt that ice is a solid. It keeps its shape while it stays frozen, even if it is removed from its container.  When ice warms up, it melts.  When ice is removed from its container and melts, it cannot keep its shape. When ice melts, it becomes a liquid.
