Ready, set, GO!!

Well done to our little runners who participated in their very first cross country run. Great effort everyone! I liked the way you paced yourselves and ran around the whole course. Awesome effort Tilly who placed 2nd! Maybe next week you will be number 1 in the BIG RACE! :-)

Skipping

We are learning how to do a basic jump. I am so proud of everyone for your perseverance! Keep giving it a good go and you'll be skipping in no time! Do you have a skipping rope at home? I challenge you to do 10 minutes of skipping at home every day. See how many jumps you can do in a row!

Hello Room 13! I am very excited that our classroom blog is up and running! I thought I would begin by sharing with you my life outside of the classroom - yes, I do have one :-).  I often talk to you about Mr Clark and my daughter Keelin.  Keelin is 2 years old, she loves to dance and sing, draw pictures, put puzzles together, and explore with playdough.  She also enjoys splashing around with water and playing at the park. Actually, there's not much that she doesn't like to do, except get her hair brushed, which can be a battle some mornings!  We have also just adopted a new kitten that Keelin helped to choose.  Her name is Giselle, although Keelin would like to name her Minnie Mouse, her favourite character at the moment! Does anyone have a family pet at home? Did you help to name them?
